Snowmass Chalets

This group of highly articulated alpine chalets are situated on a ridge facing the central Bourke street ski run and on the downward slope overlooking the distant Bluff ranges.

Whilst the architectural language is unashamedly contemporary it also reflects an alpine vocabulary with its use of natural stone buttresses and timber lining, and sloping roofs to cope with snow loading. Snowmass chalets have maintained the essence of exemplary design in an alpine environment.
